Golden State University Library System

GSU utilizes library system called Librarika. Librarika allows the librarian to monitor library activities and track library catalogs and users. Students can search library materials through “Search Catalog” function and have access to library resources, such as “Top Collections” and “Ask a Librarian.”

The Merck Manual is an online encyclopedic reference of medical resources including a large scope of medical topics, resources, drug information commentary and procedures.  It was first published in 1899 and has been continuously updated since.  It is one of the premier medical references in the United States and is trusted for its authority on medical information.

National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health

National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) is an online database of encyclopedic knowledge of complementary and integrative medicine.  It also has information for practitioners of complementary and integrative medicine. 

MedlinePlus

MedlinePlus is an extensive medical library catalog that is a service of the National Library of Medicine which is part of the National Institutes of Health.

PubMed

PubMed has 38 million biomedicine citations from Medline, various journals and online books.  Some citations have links to full-text articles from PubMed Central (part of the National Center for Biotechnology Information) and other publisher websites.

PLOS One

PLOS One is an open-access research journal that covers a wide variety of topics within biomedicine.  Articles are peer-reviewed and offers primary research, systematic reviews, qualitative research and protocols.

Science Direct Integrative Medicine Research is the official journal of the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine.  It is a quarterly journal that is single-blind peer-reviewed and is open-access to all.  It uses evidenced-based scientific research in traditional medicine, integrative medicine, complementary medicine and alternative medicine.

Elsevier Journal of Integrative Medicine

ScienceDirect Journal of Integrative Medicine (JIM) is a peer-reviewed journal sponsored by Shanghai Association of Integrative Medicine and Shanghai Changhai Hospital, China. It is a continuation of the Journal of Chinese Integrative Medicine (JCIM), which was established in 2003 and published in Chinese language (The phonetic romanization of the Chinese title used by MEDLINE/PubMed is Zhong Xi Yi Jie He Xue Bao). Since 2013, JIM has been published in English language.

The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) Bookshelf offers open access to books regarding life science and healthcare. 

Open Textbook Library

The Open Textbook Library offers textbooks on range of subjects within the sciences as well as other topics.  They are open-license books, meaning that they can be downloaded for free.

Merlot

Merlot is an international repository of digital books and other tools meant for students, faculty and researchers at the college level and covers a range of subjects within the health sciences.
